We debated about whether or not to post this one and I personally have a strong doubt it’s a fact (which means absolutely nothing) but here’s what at least a couple of the most popular informational sources in the world today have written (in a nutshell) and in the interesting facts website own words. One woman gave birth to 69 children (not at one time of course) which is the current record. She lived in Russia and 67 of the children lived beyond infancy. It’s said there were 7 sets of triplets, twins at a whopping 16 pairs and 4 of her pregnancies yielded quadruplets. Now if this is true, it’s absolutely amazing! This one was corrected from the original posting at which we had a much lower number of children but thanks to an intelligent visitor to the site which informed us of the cold hard facts and asked if we could change it, after some research it’s now 69 children. Unfortunately the visitor didn’t leave a return email for us to personally thank them.
